I thought solar was free!

Technically, the energy coming from the sun is free, which is why solar has been labeled "Free Energy." However, there is a cost for the products, materials and installation.

What if I can't afford solar?

One of the biggest misconceptions about going solar is that it is unaffordable. If you can afford your current electric bill, you can afford to spend less than that amount.  Going solar allows you to trade in your expensive electric bill for a low fixed rate.

What if I want to sell my home?

You can transfer the agreement to the new homeowners, the same way the utility bill gets transferred to their name. Solar increases the amount you can sell your home for because the new owners will immediately have access to a cheaper electricity. Recent data has shown that homes with solar sell faster than those without solar.

What if my new system can't produce enough energy to offset my usage?

All of our systems are designed with an additional 10-20% offset on your usage history. This allows for a little extra padding in the event that you consume more energy that usual in a given year.

How do I know if solar is right for me?

Are you looking to save money on your monthly energy spending? If so, solar is right for you.
